Oh, one last thing before I dash out the door for London and the Olympics!

The first time I laid eyes on this piece I knew I must do fabulous things to it. Last thing, last night, I got it finished and on the floor - my armoire!  Isn't it darling dahlings!


Alas, Normi is honking the corporate limo's horn, anxious to sweep Annie and me off on our trip to London and Emily!

Embellish! Debut!

 

Perhaps it is the word 'blog' - short, blunt, inelegant, unEmbellished! 

But overcome that rude little word I must.  And embrace the wonderful things it enables.  So Embellish! is now in the 21st century, in the blogosphere, ready to embrace and embellish it.

Themes that Embellish! enjoys include the decorative, the artful, the fashionable and, whatever it may be, the fabulous! My Cowichan Valley is full of talented creative people, many I know, so Embellish may introduce some of these  wonderful personalities and their marvellous works and events.  

Embellish! enjoys showcasing the occasional spectacular piece from the store. More occasionally I will allow shopboy, Normi, a word or two on this fabulous blog.

For now I am off to London, England for the Olympic Games, to watch wonderful warrior daughter Emily play women's soccer for Team Canada!  Go Em Go!
